May Holiday Camps (28th May – 31st May)

Our school holiday Sports Camps are the perfect opportunity for children to have fun, make new friends and improve their sports skills. We are delivering various exciting activities, including football, dodgeball, cricket, dance and more. These camps are designed to provide a fun and challenging environment for children of all skill levels, ages five to 14.

  • Sports Camp @ Armfield Academy (9am – 5pm)
  • Sports Camp @ Unity (8am – 5pm)

If Sports Camps aren’t your thing, we also have Dance Camp and Football Camps.

  • BFCCT Dance Camp @ AVR (8am – 5pm)
  • Football Camp @ Aspire Sports Hub (8am – 5pm)
  • Girls Football Camp @ Aspire Sport Hub (8am – 5pm)

Stars Camp

  • Stars Camp is returning from Tuesday 28th May to 31st We deliver a very successful camp for people aged 7 – 18 living with a disability. There are many activities to choose from at our Stars Camp including multi-skill activities, a recreational area, a games room and more.

Premier League Primary Stars

  • Fit2Go Festival (8th & 9th May) – Year 4 pupils from Blackpool primary schools will visit the stadium for the Fit2Go Festival playing different sports and activities.
  • Jimmy Armfield Memorial Trophy – Year 3 and 4 mixed tournament played in honour of Blackpool FC and England legend Jimmy Armfield.
  • G.U.L.P Challenge – Year 4 children have been asked to give up drinking pop for 21 days and swap to water or milk from 29thApril to 15th May.

Female Football

Blackpool FC School

  • On Tuesday 14th May our Key stage 4 pupils will participate in an Alternate Provision Football tournament in Burnley.
  • On Tuesday 21st May our students will participate in a Duke of Edinburgh walk at Beacon Fell.

Blackpool FC Sports College

  • Some of our Blackpool FC Sports College are going on a trip to Barcelona from the 7th to the 11th of May.
  • BTEC Level 3 students will complete their sports event by walking up Scafell Pike to raise money for Easterleigh Animal Sanctuary in Blackpool. The event, ‘Steps4Pets’ is to raise funds to support homeless animals and raise awareness of the good they do.

The Big Food Truck (Every Tuesday)

Working in partnership with Blackpool Foodbank, The Big Food Truck arrives at the stadium every Tuesday from 2 pm until 3 pm. Situated in the North Stand Community Hub, anyone can access this service which provides food parcels to help with the cost of living. Single bags are £4 and family bags are £6.50.

Family Clubs

  • Taking place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30pm – 5:30pm until 22nd
  • On the 1st May Gemma from Natwest will be attending Family Club to offer support about finances, we are also holding a Mums walk and talk down the prom.
  • On the 8thMay BFCCT staff will be venturing to our local Natwest to complete blood pressure checks.
  • Natwest and National Literacy Trust are attending Family Cubs with book donations over the half term.
  • To celebrate Mental Health Awareness week, on 15thMay we are taking people who attend our Family Clubs to Nicky Nook for a walk.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club will be held on Fridays between 9:30am – 11:00am in our North Stand Community Hub until 17th May when we take a break and recommence in June.

Premier League Kicks

  • On 28th May our PL Kicks Team are taking an Under 16’s girls team to a tournament in Morecambe against other Northwest CCOs.
  • On 30th May our PL Kicks team are taking an Under 15’s Mixed and Under 15’s Girls team to a national PL Kicks tournament hosted by Manchester United.

Veterans

  • Monthly Gardening Club
    Tuesday 7th May 11:30am – 12:30pm
    Fylde Memorial Arboretum & Community Woodland, FY2 0LZ
    Help maintain the memorial space dedicated to Blackpool FC players who lost their lives during WW1.
  • Join us at NAAFI Break on Wednesday 15th May between 10:30am and 12pm to enjoy a visit from Help for Heroes.
  • On Friday the 17th of May we are taking some of our Veterans on a trip to Buckingham Palace for The Not Forgotten Association Garden Party.
