EFL Girls Cup Regional Finals will take place on Thursday 3rd March.
LSA will venture to Derby and represent Blackpool FC in the next round of the competition. They will compete against: Wigan, Shrewsbury and Hull.

International Women’s Day takes place on Tuesday 8th March. To support the occasion we are attending an event on Saturday 5th March at Blackpool Sixth Form. Our Active Through Football Manager will be showcasing the opportunities available to take part in activities with the Community Trust as well as gathering information about what women would like to see.

National Careers Week takes place 7th – 12th.
National Careers Week (NCW) is a celebration of careers guidance and free resources in education across the UK. The aim is to provide a focus for careers guidance activity at an important stage in the academic calendar to help support young people leaving education. We will be focusing on our Education and Employability team, as well as highlighting the career pathways from members of staff at the Community Trust.

The NCS Team are delivering Skills Booster sessions in Blackpool College Gateway Campus, Athena and Pegasus to help up-skill the young people to build their confidence when taking those all important next steps in life.
This programme is designed to inspire young people to develop the personal skills and positive attitudes to succeed in life. It will support and guide young people through stresses and anxieties they may have, while giving them the tools to manage their own mental health and wellbeing in both their academic and personal life as well as developing their employability skills.
