Our Tiny Tangerines sessions focus on ball mastery and control which in turn allows confidence to grow giving children the belief to experiment with new skills during training activities and small-sided games. We encourage players to explore and practice any newly learnt techniques, skills, and tactics within a secure and nurturing environment. This approach not only increases their footballing ability but also promotes a sense of self-belief that extends far beyond the pitch.

Our dedicated team boasts over 30 years of combined expertise in working with children within this age group. Our staff members are not only FA qualified but also specialise in this specific age range. Currently, they are delivering sessions within nurseries and primary schools throughout Blackpool, ensuring that our programmes follow the Department of Education’s curriculum guidance for the Early years Foundation stage (EYFS). This wealth of knowledge and experience forms the foundations of the Tiny Tangerines programme.
As an added perk, our Tiny Tangerine players occasionally have the incredible opportunity to attend Blackpool FC matches at Bloomfield Road stadium, enhancing their young footballing journey. Some fortunate players even receive special gifts and prizes during our festive Christmas and end-of-season celebrations.

These booklets have been designed to aid your child’s development by inspiring them to practice away from training and to give each player their own individual skill to work towards. With over 80 skill challenges, the Tiny Tangerines Skills Booklet will help your child to progress through the beginner, advanced and expert skill categories. Each week the Tiny Tangerine coaches introduce new skills during the sessions but now players can see these skills in their own booklet, practice that week’s skill moves and track their own progress.
When your child has shown us the correct technique, Bloomfield Bear will give you his stamp of approval with a paw sticker for the skill challenge.
Inside the books we have added activities for the children such as spot the difference plus football kit and badge design.
The Tiny Tangerines Skills Booklet is a bit of fun for each child but ultimately if used correctly we hope that it will help your son or daughter to track their development and to enjoy the start of their fun football journey.
