On Wednesday 6th February we attended the Changing Horizons event at The Winter Gardens. The event aims to raise the aspirations of children and young people in Blackpool and we wanted to get involved to give those who attended a chance to share their ideas about what activities they would like to see in our new Education and Community Centre.
Speaking to over 100 school children across school years 5-7, we asked them to provide the bricks to build our wall of ideas. We have some very imaginative children and young people in Blackpool, with everyone putting forward some fantastic ideas. Watch this space to see which of them get added to our timetable of activities.
