Blackpool FC Community Trust and Blackpool Football Club are collaborating again to help tackle some of the cost-of-living challenges for the local community throughout the winter season.
With financial support from Blackpool Football Club and Blackpool Council, we will be opening the doors to Bloomfield Road and operating FREE Family Clubs/Community Clubs to provide families and socially isolated and/or vulnerable members of our community with a place to keep warm and socialise with access to a hot meal.
As part of our Tangerine Together initiative, the Family Clubs will recommence from Tuesday 7th January in the North Stand Community Hub at the stadium, at the following times:
Family Clubs:
When: Tuesday and Wednesday 3:30 pm – 5 pm
Where: North Stand Community Hub, Bloomfield Road Stadium, Seasiders Way, FY1 6JJ
Everyone will receive a hot meal and tea/coffee will be available throughout. Children can play games and take part in crafts with other children. Families can eat, spend time together, and talk about their day. Please note, that these hubs are specifically for families with children. There is also the opportunity to complete Level 1 / Level 2 college courses, take part in physical activity and encourage your child to complete their home work/reading.
Community Club:
When: Tuesday 1:30pm- 3pm alongside The Big Food Truck
Where: North Stand Community Hub, Bloomfield Road Stadium, Seasiders Way, FY1 6JJ
If, like many of us, you find yourself facing challenges with your bills, feeling isolated during the dark evenings, or simply craving a change of environment, please come and join us. All we ask is that you book by messaging us on Facebook or giving us a call at 01253 348691.
