Saturday the 7th May saw Blackpool FC’s Community Trust host a Free Family Fun Day and a Football Tournament here on the pitch at Bloomfield Road.
We held the football tournament on one half of the pitch, where we had two pitches set up for four different age groups, which all came at various times throughout the day. The family fun half of the pitch included various sporting activities such as the Crossbar challenge, Inflatable penalty shoot-out and the Giant inflatable pitch and it would be fair to say that the day was a success with over 1,000 people attending the event.
