Blackpool Football Club Community Trust Walking Football team travelled to Oswestry last weekend to represent the Seasiders in the tournament held in North Shropshire. The team finished a very respectable 3rd place after losing in the semi-final to Shrewsbury Town FC 2-1.
Walking Football is a successful programme developed through partnership between Blackpool FC Community Trust and Age UK Blackpool, providing opportunities for over 50’s to participate in physical activity.
