Blackpool FC Community trust was proud to open its independent school in September 2021 for Key stage 4 learners. The school is an alternative education setting to support learners who are either at risk of permanent exclusion or those who need support that cannot be provided in a mainstream setting, this includes behavioural issues, mental health and well-being concerns and students who love sport, in particular, football. We are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic, and positive teacher who will deliver a range of vocational qualifications, including PSHE, RSE and practical Sport.
The candidate will play a pivotal role in inspiring students, supporting individual and group learning, and working collaboratively with our dedicated staff. If you are passionate about education, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have a strong background in teaching, coaching and youth engagement, we encourage you to apply. The post holder will deliver aspects of the NCFE Sport and exercise curriculum as well as PSHE, RSE and 1-1 mentoring. The role involves curriculum planning, working effectively with the school team, managing progress of learners, monitoring of attendance and punctuality and enriching student experiences. The job holder will play a powerful and influential role in many young people’s lives by promoting the Community Trust and its values.
