Play 7-a-side football with current and ex-forces personnel, followed by a brew and a chat at our wellbeing hub. There are also opportunities to represent Blackpool FC Community Trust at fixtures and events against other forces teams.

Help BFCCT maintain our memorial space dedicated to Blackpool FC players who sadly lost their lives during the First World War. If you’re not that green-fingered, then just come along for a brew and a chat.
There are other memorials in need of maintenance down at the Arboretum which requires a small army of volunteers, so once Veterans Gardening Club has finished there’s plenty of opportunities to get more involved. A flask, wellies, gloves, and warm kit would be useful if you decide to come and help.

Our monthly model-making club provides a creative, inclusive, and supportive space where individuals can connect through the art of model-making. The club encourages a deeper appreciation for the armed forces, promotes mental well-being, and collaborates closely with 4 Lancs in Blackpool.

Our Military Veterans’ monthly trip offers a fantastic opportunity to explore historic and culturally significant locations across the Northwest. Each month, we venture beyond Blackpool to visit museums, heritage sites, and other places of interest, providing veterans with a chance to connect, reminisce, and enjoy shared experiences in a welcoming and supportive environment. These trips foster camaraderie, well-being, and a deeper appreciation for the region’s rich history.
When: Last Friday of the month.
Time: 9am – 6pm
Where: Around the Northwest.
Cost: Transport is free, but some locations may have an entry fee.
