Blackpool FC Community Trust are celebrating World Mental Health Day taking place on 10th October. This year’s theme set by the World Federation of Mental Health is workplace mental health highlighting the importance of addressing mental health and wellbeing in the workplace, for the benefit of people, organisations, and communities.
World Mental Health Day is about raising awareness and driving positive change for everyone. It’s also a chance to talk about mental health, how we need to look after it, and how important it is to get help if you are struggling.
Get together with friends, families, or colleagues this World Mental Health Day at one of our sessions! Here are all the things we do to support the mental health of our community.
Are you looking for a safe space to express your emotions?
Our group men’s talking group is delivered every Monday evening between 6pm and 8pm in the North Stand Community Hub at Blackpool FC’s stadium.
We also have Get Vocal The Podcast, hosted by Jack Sprigg and Callum Taylor (Let’s Just Talk podcast), each episode features special guests and aims to get men talking about their mental health.
By providing a platform that combines expertise, personal stories, and practical advice, this podcast promises to make a lasting impact on the lives of individuals, families, and communities.
